# Your account

My account sections, profile details, password, and language.

The account is managed on the website, in [My account](https://gplclub.com/en/my-account/). To sign in, refer to [Getting started](/en/start-here/getting-started.md).

## My account sections

| Section          | Content                                                                                                        |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overview**     | Plan, today's credits, and the **Go to dashboard** button.                                                     |
| **Subscription** | Plan status, [plan changes](/en/membership-and-account/change-your-plan.md), and access to the payment portal. |
| **Sites**        | Sites connected to [GPLClub Updater](/en/gplclub-updater/sites-and-limits.md).                                 |
| **Orders**       | Orders and [invoices](/en/membership-and-account/cancellations-renewals-and-invoices.md#invoices).             |
| **Downloads**    | Download history and today's credits.                                                                          |
| **Following**    | Products you follow. Each new version of one of them is sent by email.                                         |
| **Affiliates**   | Affiliate program, when it is open.                                                                            |
| **Profile**      | Personal details, email language, billing details, and password.                                               |

## Personal details

The name and email address are changed in **My account > Profile > Personal information**. Changing the email requires the current password; the change applies immediately.

## Password

To change the password, go to **My account > Profile > Change password**, enter the current and the new password (at least 8 characters), and select **Update password**. If the account was created with an access link and does not have a password yet, the section is called **Create a password** and does not ask for the current one.

To recover a forgotten password:

1. On the [Sign in](https://gplclub.com/en/sign-in/) page, select **Forgot password?**.
2. Enter your email and select **Send reset link**.
3. In the **Change your GPLClub password** email, select **Change my password** and save the new one.

The link expires after 60 minutes. Up to three links can be requested per hour.

## Sign in with Google

The **Continue with Google** button on the sign-in page signs in to the account that has the same email as your Google account. The member dashboard does not support this method; refer to [Sign in to the dashboard](/en/start-here/your-member-dashboard.md#sign-in-to-the-dashboard).

## Language

| Where            | How to change it                                         |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| Website          | Language flag, in the top bar or the footer.             |
| Member dashboard | **ES / EN** in the top bar.                              |
| Emails           | **My account > Profile > Preferences > Email language**. |

## Closed account

Accounts that breach the fair use policy are closed. A closed account can sign in, but cannot download products, use GPLClub Updater, or make payments. Every page on the website shows the notice **Your account has been closed for breaching our Fair Use Policy**. If you think this is a mistake, [contact support](/en/support-and-legal/contact-us.md).
