# Change your plan

How to upgrade to a higher plan, switch to the Lifetime plan, or downgrade.

Plan changes are made on the website, in [My account > Subscription](https://gplclub.com/en/my-account/suscripcion/). The page lets you upgrade to a higher plan or switch to the Lifetime plan. To downgrade, you need to contact support.

## Upgrade to a higher plan

To upgrade your plan:

1. In **My account > Subscription**, go to **Upgrade your plan**.
2. On the plan you want, select **Switch to this**.
3. Review the **You are charged now** amount and select **Yes, charge**, followed by the amount.

The amount is the price of the new plan minus the unused part of the current plan. It is charged immediately to the subscription's card. The confirmation also shows the price of the new plan and the date of the next renewal.

The new plan is activated when the charge completes. If the bank requests a verification (3D Secure), the change is applied once it is confirmed. If the card is declined, the current plan does not change.

## Switch to the Lifetime plan

To switch to the Lifetime plan:

1. In **My account > Subscription**, go to **Upgrade to Lifetime** and select **Upgrade to Lifetime, $199**.
2. Select **Yes, proceed to payment** and complete the payment.

The Lifetime plan costs 199 USD, with no discount for the time remaining on the current plan; that time is not refunded. When the payment completes, the previous subscription is canceled and no longer renews. If the payment fails, the current subscription stays the same.

## Downgrade

To switch to a lower plan, [contact support](/en/support-and-legal/contact-us.md). The change is scheduled for the end of the current period, so you keep the plan you paid for until then.

## Limitations

* Manually activated memberships, paid with PayPal or cryptocurrency, cannot change plans from the website. To change them, [contact support](/en/support-and-legal/contact-us.md).
* The Lifetime plan cannot be changed.
* If the subscription has a scheduled cancellation, the plan change options do not appear.
