White Label
The White Label feature allows you to fully customize the appearance of GPLClub Updater to make it look like your own product. Ideal for agencies, freelancers, and resellers who want to offer an update service under their own brand.
What can you customize?
With White Label you can modify the following plugin elements:
Plugin Name
Change "GPLClub Updater" to any name you prefer (e.g., "My Agency Updater").
Description
Customize the description that appears in the WordPress plugin list.
Author
Replace "GPLClub" with your name or your company's name.
Author URL
Link to your own website instead of gplclub.com.
Plugin URL
Change the URL that appears as the plugin's official page.
Hide from plugin list
Completely hide GPLClub Updater from the WordPress plugin list and the Rollbacks section.
ℹ️ Note: The option to hide the plugin from the list also automatically hides it in the Rollbacks section, maintaining the consistency of your white label across the entire interface.
How to Set Up White Label
From the WordPress menu, go to GPLClub Updater → White Label.
Fill in the fields you want to customize. Fields left empty will keep GPLClub's original values.
If you want to hide the plugin from the WordPress plugin list, enable the "Hide from plugin list" switch.
Click Save Changes.
Changes are applied immediately. Verify in Plugins → Installed Plugins that everything looks as expected.
⚠️ Important: If you hide the plugin from the plugin list, the only way to access it will be through the admin dashboard menu. Make sure you remember the name you assigned to easily identify it.
Practical Example
Let's say you have an agency called WebPro Studio and want to offer the update service to your clients under your brand:
Plugin Name
GPLClub Updater
WebPro Updates Manager
Description
GPLClub Updater...
Update manager...
Author
GPLClub
WebPro Studio
Hide from plugins
Disabled
Enabled
With this setup, your clients will see "WebPro Updates Manager" in their WordPress and will have no visual reference to GPLClub.
What Does White Label NOT Change?
API connection: The plugin continues communicating with GPLClub's servers to get updates. This is transparent to the end user.
Credits and membership: Download limits and credits still depend on your GPLClub plan.
License (sitekey): The site connection process still requires a license generated from your Premium Panel.
How to Restore Original Values
If you want to go back to GPLClub Updater's original configuration:
Go to GPLClub Updater → White Label.
Click the "Restore default values" link at the bottom of the page.
Confirm the action. All fields will return to their original values.
